The 2008 Arnold Classic is fast approaching and as usual the Fitness Factory athletes are poised to compete for the top spots!

Adela Garcia, current Fitness Olympia champ and previous Fitness International winner has chosen to forgo this year’s contest in preparation for the 2008 Olympia, but there will be many other top athletes vying for the title.  In fact, half of the professional fitness competitors are Fitness Factory athletes!  Previous Fitness International winner and crowd favorite Jen Hendershott will be competing along with perennial top 5 competitors Julie Palmer and Tracey Greenwood.  They will be joined by Canadian fitness champ Mindi O’Brien and rising star Bethany Gainey.  Tina Durkin, the 2007 NPC National Champion, will be making her pro debut on the Arnold stage!

Fitness Factory ladies are sure to make some waves in the Figure International as well.  As one of figure’s hottest new stars, Jenn Gates will be looking to make her mark and improve on her 4th place finish in the ’07 Olympia.  She will be joined by Olympians and previous top 5 place winners Latisha Wilder and Chastity Slone.  Debbie Leung, a media and fan favorite from Canada will also be competing along with Catherine Anderson, the 2007 NPC USA champ making her pro debut.  Two local favorites, previous Arnold competitor Brianna Tindall, and Brenda Marie Smith who qualified for the 2008 Olympia in her pro debut ,will be stepping on stage in their hometown!

The Fitness Factory ladies will also make their presence known in the Ms. International.  Top 5 Olympian Lisa Auckland will be gunning for the title alongside one of bodybuilding’s most recognized competitors and promoters, Betty Pariso.

With such a deep and talented roster, The Fitness Factory IFBB pro’s are sure to take home some of the top placings and prize money!

On the amateur side, many Fitness Factory athletes will start their competitive season with the Arnold Amateur, a contest which in only its second year, has already become a highly anticipated and competitive international event!  It will include Fitness Factory athletes from each discipline: figure, fitness, men’s and women’s bodybuilding.  With a field of top national and international competitors, this event is sure to be a showcase for top athletes and future IFBB professionals.

Whether competing on stage, promoting a company in an Expo booth or working behind the scenes commentating and running the events, The Fitness Factory will be ever present at Vet’s Memorial this year.
